This holiday season, we are asking for your support for the families of the 40th Military Police Company, based in Los Alamitos, CA. Our dear friend is the Commander of the 40th, and we are honored to help him provide support to the families he leads.

These families are facing an incredibly difficult time, while their loved ones are serving our country, many are left at home with no income, struggling to provide food, diapers, formula, and pay bills. During the holidays they are struggling to keep their households going.

The 40th MP Company is a unique National Guard unit serving as the Homeland Response Force (HRF), which covers multiple states outside of California. This specialized unit responds to catastrophic chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive (CBRNE) incidents, as well as natural disasters, fires, and homeland security threats.

This year, the soldiers have only been home for a total of about two months. Unlike active duty soldiers, many National Guard members are not receiving pay while deployed, and with the recent government shutdown, even those relying on food assistance have had their benefits suspended. With potential new orders these families face weeks without income, leaving them vulnerable during the holidays.

Many of these soldiers are young with young families, and in the lower enlisted ranks. Your donations will go directly to families with the greatest need, providing essential support such as food, diapers, and formula.
